“Volga-Rost” substrates are made of environmentally friendly material – mineral fiber obtained by melting basalt rocks. In practice mineral wool is the most popular material among specialists of protected soil. Substrates based on it are sterile, inert and provide flexible control of the agronomist over the growth processes. Today plugs for seeds, salads, cubes and mats for vegetable and flower crops are produced under the “Volga-Rost” brand. Due to the full automation of the production process and 3-stage control, “Volga-Rost” products have stable quality, which is of fundamental importance in the conditions of large agricultural farms.
